Group session

Group Sound Healing

A shared sitting with bowls and gongs

A group session with Himalayan singing bowls, gongs and complementary instruments — rest together in a room full of sound.

Fee
NPR 1,800
Duration
75 minutes

The experience

You arrive, settle onto a mat with a bolster and blanket, and are guided into stillness. The practitioner then plays singing bowls, gongs and other instruments for an extended period while the group rests. There is nothing to follow along with. The session closes slowly, with a few minutes of quiet before people leave. Group sessions are a good way to experience sound healing for the first time.

What to expect

  • Mats, bolsters and blankets set out in a circle or rows
  • A short guided settling into stillness
  • An extended wash of singing bowls, gongs and complementary instruments
  • A slow close with a few minutes of silence
  • A small group — usually up to sixteen people
