Founder & Guiding Teacher
Grand Master Akash Banjara
Known to many as Yogi Akash — a Nepalese sound healing master, teacher and international trainer, and the founder of NSHISCHOOL.
“Let us create a more peaceful world — one heart, one vibration and one community at a time.”
His story
Akash Banjara was born in Gorkha and raised among temples and Himalayan culture, where sound, ritual and stillness were part of ordinary life. He studied with temple gurus, monks, yogis and traditional masters in Nepal, learning the practice directly from the people who carried it.
His study deepened in India — in Rishikesh, Dharamshala, Sikkim and Vrindavan — across yoga, meditation, sound and vibrational work. A multi-instrumentalist and healing-music creator, he brought these threads together into a way of teaching that is both traditional and clear.
In 2011 he founded the Natural Sound Healing International School in Kathmandu, so the practice could be taught responsibly, structured properly, and kept authentic as it reached more people.
