The experience
A gong bath is a group session where the gong is the central instrument. Lying down and covered, you are surrounded by long, building waves of gong sound, sometimes joined by bowls and other instruments. The effect is enveloping — many people lose their sense of time. The session builds, sustains and then softens, ending in quiet. It is a strong experience; if you'd prefer something gentler to begin with, a group sound healing session may suit you better.

- Lying down, covered and supported, for the whole session
- Long, building waves of gong sound, close and enveloping
